This week: Two days, three Optionality virtual events
We're closing out May with a bang, with three events designed to help you understand the intersection of passion, purpose, and profit for YOU.

As we wrap up May, we’ve got the goods this week and invite you to join us for many, many words of wisdom around this month’s theme of Passion, Purpose, and Priorities (especially when there’s Pressure to Profit).
Below are the links to register and where you can watch some of these events live to ask questions of these experts:
1. Wednesday, May 28th, 9AM PT (LIVE): WEBINAR
Building an ecosystem around your calling, featuring founder, tech executive, and investor Dave Lu, in conversation with journalist and director of communications & engagement for the Center for Asian American Media, Grace Hwang Lynch.
It's hard to think of a line of work more under pressure to profit than being an investor with limited partners. Dave Lu is one such investor. But he’s also a defender of the under-represented and under-celebrated, and he’s utterly unafraid to shine a spotlight on injustice and systemic bias, all while offering concrete career advice. Meanwhile, Grace embodies the advice to integrate your identity, passions, and skills into a meaningful purpose. It’s going to be a great conversation. Join us live to ask your questions, and register even if you cannot attend to get the recording. OPEN TO ALL
2. Thursday, May 29th, 9AM PT (LIVE): DEEP DIVE
Connect the dots and find the common threads in your career: We’ve recently started doing our monthly Deep Dives as interviews with experts who share concrete steps, in addition to their stories. This month, Claire Wasserman of Ladies Get Paid is the subject of one such dive, focused on finding the common threads that stitch your life and career together, in order to figure out what your passion and purpose are, and how to strategize to pursue both more intentionally.
Claire Wasserman has focused on how to help people figure out and then get the jobs and work they want (and get paid for it) for more than a decade. Author of Ladies Get Paid, host of the Hire Ground YouTube show for job seekers, and creator of The LLC of Me program for people pursuing what we call an optionality-driven life. She also is the BEST at providing simple, digestible exercises to help you do the work you need to do to get more clarity and articulate your value more clearly too. We're going to walk through some of those exercises in this Deep Dive. There will be a LinkedIn Live available to all in real time. Afterwards, the full recording will be sent only to Optionality Premium members, with a substantive excerpt sent to all members.
Thursday, May 29th, 1PM PT (LIVE): #CONVERSATIONALITY
Tackle passion and purpose with a beginner’s mindset with Optionality member and storytelling/speaker coach, Eunice Brownlee. Do you feel like the passion or purpose train missed your station. Like you didn’t get the memo and can’t name something singular and special? Or did you used to know your passion or purpose but don’t feel connected to one or both anymore? This #Conversationality session is for you. Eunice helps people tell their story…and to that end, she helps them find their story. So, we’re going to talk about what it’s like to start fresh, from a blank slate, and find your passion or purpose …and what are the practical next steps to take once you’ve identified them if you want to live a life that leans into them. Join us on YouTube Live to ask questions in real time, and the recording will be sent to all members afterwards. OPEN TO ALL.
We hope you’ll join us for one or all of these events and close out May with more clarity about your own passion and purpose, and more optimism about integrating them into your work and life.
