Last week’s ruling that forced Fearless Fund to “pause” its grant program for Black-women-founders, saying it could be discriminatory, pushes a LOT of buttons for me and Jory. So we use our biweekly Conversationality to talk about it this week.
We’re certainly not alone in being triggered, and we’re not alone in wanting to have a rant about it. but in the second half of our conversation, we also talk about all the ways each one of us can think of the word “ally” as a verb…the things we do, the decisions we make, the power we have every day…these are all opportunities to ally ourselves and align ourselves with the people, groups, ideals, and values we care about.
